CAPACITY is an investigational program consisting of two large phase 3 trials. These trials are designed to determine the safety and efficacy of treatment with pirfenidone in patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). Eligible patients receive either pirfenidone (an investigational medication) or placebo treatment. These trials are now closed to enrollment. Please explore our site for more information.
